            Privacy Guarantee: Your node acts as a "blind relay". It passes encrypted packets without ever seeing the content, sender, or receiver.
        

How It Works

The Canary Node Protocol is designed to be lightweight enough to run on mobile devices and low-power hardware (like Raspberry Pi).

Background Service: The node runs silently in the background, using minimal battery (< 3% daily impact on average).
Operator Character: Your node is represented by an RPG character (Bluefoot, Human, etc.) that "explores" the network.
Proof of Relay: When your node successfully routes a message, it generates a cryptographic proof to claim rewards.

Setup Guide

Download the App

Get the Canary Messenger app from the Solana dApp Store or Google Play.

Create Your Profile

Set up your decentralized identity. This creates your wallet and unique Node ID.

Activate Node Mode

Go to Settings > Node Status and toggle "Run Node". You will see your connection status turn green.

FAQ

Does this drain my battery?

No. The protocol is optimized for "burst" activity. It sleeps when not needed. On a standard phone, it consumes less power than scrolling Twitter for 5 minutes.

Do I need to keep the app open?

No. Once activated, the background service handles everything. You just need an active internet connection.
